In these cases, the fundamental objective of the animations is to clearly explain what a service is about, making these pieces ideal for a company's, organization's, or startup's homepage. In a very short amount of time and in a highly attractive way, they convey exactly what they do, becoming an excellent corporate cover letter.
This project consisted of clearly and attractively showcasing the foundation's global initiative, which involves rescuing polluting plastics floating in the oceans and transforming them into high-quality technical filaments for 3D printing low-cost prosthetics destined for people who require affordable solutions.
In terms of style, we worked with custom digital illustration covering the entire production flow, starting from the structural development of the hand-drawn storyboard to the finish of the final visual material that was subsequently animated in layers. To consolidate the impact and human warmth of the corporate narrative, the institutional voiceover was provided by professional talent Laurent Apfel.
For this explainer case, we proposed a visual development centered on the fluidity of transitions and the expressiveness of graphic movement, seeking to hook the viewer from the very first second through a modern and bold aesthetic approach.
In this case, we worked with purely vector illustration strictly based on an analog storyboard completely drawn by hand. The differentiating technical aspect was that, in certain strategic scenes, we integrated 3D modeled elements that subtly blend and merge with the vector art. The main objective of this hybrid resource was to inject complex camera dynamics and perspective shifts that would have been unfeasible to solve solely through flat animation. The voiceover for the piece was performed by Rodrigo Vicens.
The trade association's requirement demanded a didactic format capable of simplifying the clean energy ecosystem and the relevance of storage systems in the country's electrical grid.
For this project, we implemented the Whiteboard Animation technique, but giving it a much richer, more colorful, and artisanal visual treatment through a careful digital watercolor aesthetic. This technique relies on the voiceover guiding and building ideas simultaneously on screen while the illustrations are drawn in real-time in front of the viewer. It is a foolproof methodology for breaking down and explaining virtually any complex engineering concept or hard data, transforming it into a highly attractive and entertaining corporate piece.
